June 28 & 29, 2025 - Fundraising Casino at the Ace Casino Blackfoot
This is East Lake School's BIG fundraising year! The school casino only happens once every three years, and it’s their turn to make a huge impact. Just two days of volunteering can bring in $30,000+ for East Lake School kids and the school, funding essential items not covered by the school budget. The Chestermere Food Bank has many volunteer opportunities, from administration help to Meals on Wheels couriers and Community Garden Coordinator. They are also in need of volunteers for their casino on April 5 & 6 2025 at the Ace Casino Blackfoot.
Chestermere Lake Middle School

The playschool is a volunteer-run playschool and always needs more help cleaning toys and making play dough.
Homework Helpers Tutor (Synergy)
Looking to help youth in grades 4 - 12? Come volunteer at The Drop for our Homework Helpers program on Wednesdays from 6 - 8pm. We currently have 3 tutors and would like to add more to our team as we have been seeing a big turnout each week! Please get in touch so we can meet you and ensure this is the right fit for you! Events & Projects Volunteer (Synergy)
Looking to volunteer here and there? Need to attain volunteer hours? This opportunity allows you to volunteer when you are able depending on the event or project we have coming up. Events can be things like video game nights, pancakes in the park, game nights etc. Projects can involve accomplishing odd jobs, organizational tasks or bigger team projects. South Central Adult Learning Society (Chestermere) is looking for volunteer tutors to provide one-to-one ongoing instructional support and encouragement to adult learners wanting to improve their literature, numeracy, digital skills and/or English language skills.
Volunteering to work with adult learners is an opportunity for people to make a lasting difference in an adult's life and thereby their family and community. Working with adult learners is a tremendously rewarding experience.
