Parks: Chestermere & Langdon

  • Anniversary Park – 208 West Chestermere Drive
    It features a cenotaph, beach, plaza, and promenade. Washrooms are available.

  • Birth Forests – various locations throughout Chestermere
    Every year, the Streetscapes Committee plants trees in September to recognize those children born to families living within the City of Chestermere.

  • Chestermere Family Bike Park - 333 West Creek Drive
    It's not a traditional park but a great place for bike riders of all ages and abilities. Street parking is available. There is an on-site portapotty, gazebos, and seating. The park closes for the winter and during rainy spells.

  • Chestermere Skatepark - Intersection of Rainbow Road and Chestermere Boulevard (by Synergy)
    The skatepark is a great spot for beginners to learn the sport in a non-intimidating park. Skateboards, Rollerblades, Scooters, and Ripsticks are allowed.

  • Cornerstone Community Park - 340 Merganser Dr. W
    Parking lot, pathways, and a sidewalk along Rainbow Road. Next to the Skate Park and ReidBuilt Centre for Community Leadership.

  • Cove Park - Cove Road
    Sand is a natural playground with a baby swing and viewing point.

  • Founders’ Point Park – 117 Founders’ Point
    Features a cairn erected in 2002 with a time capsule containing objects significant to Chestermere. The time capsule is to be opened in 2052

  • John Peake Memorial Park – 100 John Morris Way
    Features a beautiful gazebo, concrete walkway along the lake, picnic areas and the public boat launch

  • Kinniburgh Park – along Kinniburgh Blvd

  • Langdon Park, Langdon – 28 acres to run and play! Paved pathways, skateboard park, and more.

  • Millennium Park – 168 East Chestermere Drive
    Includes a playground, sailboat sculpture and a lighted pathway to Sunset Beach.

  • Rainbow Falls Park – 301 Rainbow Falls Drive
    Stroll through the winding pathways of Rainbow Falls and several different waterfalls.

  • Sunset Park – 418 East Chestermere Drive
    One of the Birth Forests is located here. Sunset Park is a favourite location for sailboarders and paddleboarders. It also features beach volleyball courts and barbeque pits.

  • Triangle Park – 740 East Chestermere Drive
    This park includes half-court basketball, a tot lot, baby swings and picnic tables.

  • Irricana Splash Park Located in the recreation area off of Henrick’s Drive, Irricana
    Open seven days a week, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

  • Mattamy Homes Spray Park –  7th Ave & 48 Street, Airdrie 
    Opens in late May. Located in Chinook Winds Regional Park

  • West Confederation Park - Spray Park  2020 Chicoutimi Drive NW
    Parking off 19th Street & Chicoutimi Drive NW. Calgary. It features tennis courts, ball diamonds, washrooms, water fountains, pathways, benches, picnic tables, and a spray park. It is also connected to Confederation Park by the pathway system.—capacity 50.

  • Bowness Park Wading Pool – 8900 48th Ave NW, Calgary  
    It features a playground, picnic areas, washrooms, and a tea house. Aquatic wheelchairs are available, and the capacity is 175.

  • Eau Claire Plaza3 St & Riverfront Ave SW, Calgary  
    The park, which is located along the Bow River, features a wading pool/spray park, playground, washrooms, and water fountains. Pay parking is available.

  • Prairie Winds Park Spray Park – 223 Castleridge Blvd NE, Calgary  
    The spray park and wading pool underwent renovations in 2016/17. They now feature a lazy river and an improved wading pool. Aquatic wheelchairs are available. The pool has a capacity of 300.

  • Rotary Park Spray Park – 617 1st Street NE, Calgary 
    It can hold 50 people and features an off-leash area, playground, spray park, picnic tables, washrooms, and water fountains.

  • Riley Park Wading Pool –  800 12th Street NW, Calgary 
    The park features a wading pool, aquatic wheelchairs, Senator Patrick Burns Memorial Rock Gardens, picnic tables, playgrounds, washrooms, and water fountains.

  • Valleyview Park Spray Park - 3224 26th Street SE, Calgary 
    It is a relatively new park in the Dover/Southview area. It features a pond, benches, picnic tables, a playground, washrooms, and a spray park.

  • South Glenmore Park Spray Park – 90 Ave. & 24 St SW, Calgary
    Picnic and playground area, public washrooms. Aquatic wheelchairs are available.

  • Century Gardens Spray Park - 826 8 Ave. S.W. Calgary 
    New splash pad (2021), public washrooms.

  • Okotoks Spray Park - Milligan Dr, Okotoks  
    Includes multiple play areas for different ages
