We are a community-based, parent-run, not-for-profit playschool. We believe that play is a fundamental part of children’s learning, growth, and development.

Play Based and curriculum-guided

Play is the work of our children and is closely tied to the development of cognitive, socio-emotional and physical behaviours. Our teachers focus play and learning activities on scheduled themes. Our classes have learned about everything from planets and superheroes to life under the sea and fairytales.

Run, Spin and Skate!

Unless something special is happening, each class includes time for physical play, and that either means games in the gym or outside (if the weather is pleasant!)  In addition to regular gym time, six ice skating sessions are held for each class, one day a month, from October through to March.  These sessions are held for the first hour of class and a parent or adult of your choice is required to attend and supervise your child. Skating time is always great fun and provides a terrific opportunity for parents to socialize along with the children. But, skating is always optional - feel free to simply bring your child to the classroom after skating is over.
